The Curious Case of Rishu – that’s what I was able to remember when I saw this interesting campaign from Blackberrys.
Narrative is very simple – Rishu is your average young professional who’s held back by the everyday wrinkles of his life, and on his shirt; driving an obsession to be prim and proper at all times. The short film presents a very light-hearted and chuckle-worthy narrative about the exploits of Rishu, as narrated by his friends, family and co-workers (and even his pet dog). In the end it’s showed how #Unwrinkle shirts help him break free from the bounds of his obsession and live life to the fullest.
Now imagine you were running a lead ads campaign for gathering feedback about this new range of product. You would have to take care of the lead forms and other elements in FB dashboard. Today we are exactly going to see how you can set up an ad for lead ad campaign.
First we have to create a new ad by clicking on “Create Ad” button on top left side. Put the name of the ad.
Select the Facebook Page that you want to be connected with. If you have already selected the page at campaign level then the same will remain at ad level also.
Now under the “Creative” section you will have to put “Text”, “Headline”, “News Feed Link Description”.
“Text” is the copy text. “Headline” is heading of the ad area. “News Feed Link Description” comes below the Headline.
All changes done can be seen in the preview on right side. Below is the snapshot.
In the next stage put “Display URL” that you want users to see in the ad area.
Select the “Image” or “Video” that you want to show.
For “Image” the specs are:
- image size: 1200 × 628 pixels
- image ratio: 1.91:1
- Your image may not include more than 20% text.
For “Video” we have two options:
Option 1 – Video
- Format: .mp4 or .mov
- Resolution: at least 720p
- Aspect ratio: widescreen (16:9)
- Length: 60 minutes max (2.3 GB)
Option 2 – Slideshow (this is a new feature)
- Use 3 – 7 images
- Length: set how long your slideshow video will take to play
The last step in the “Creative” section is to select the “Call To Action”. Here you have 6 options to select from:
- Apply Now
- Get Quote
- Learn More
Then create a new form to capture leads and put URL tags for tracking conversions in the back-end. You have your lead ads campaign ready.
That’s it for this series. Till next time keep being awesome 🙂
